This year the festival has been expanded to include the ENTIRE Downtown block of Main and Hicks Streets. There will be vendors, games and entertainment lining the streets from the stoplight all the way around the block to the Star Value parking lot where our 2nd Annual Car/ Truck/Motorcycle show will be going on.
The Festival begins at 8:30 am with the opening of the vendor fair, games and rides. We have over 80 vendors from North Carolina and Virginia. Items covering a full range of tastes from jewelry, florals, leather goods, furniture, cedar crafted items, pictures, glass wears, vintage replica signs, children’s clothing and hair bows, baskets, candles and soaps and this doesn’t begin to cover what will be on hand. Come with an empty stomach because there will be food vendors that can fill any craving you may have, chicken, fish, BBQ, sausages, blooming onions, snow cones and of course Brunswick Counties signature Brunswick Stew cooked by Stewmaster Leslie Beatty that will be available by the quart or bowl.
A Mechanical Bull ride and miniature Carousel will be two of the festivals key attractions as well as a Moon bounce featuring mascots such as Hello Kitty, Dora and more. There will be a number of carnival games to test your skills, “Hillbilly” softball toss, Football Throw, Balloon Darts, Nerf Target Shoot, Duck Pond (pickup ducks), and a Lollipop Tree.
