Jamier Dashawn Leonard

For the second time in the past two weeks, the Greensville County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Emporia man.

According to a flyer from the Sheriff’s Office, Jamier Dashawn Leonard, 21, was last seen at the Meherrin River Apartments Thursday morning. He was wearing a white v-neck T-shirt, black jeans with red stripes on the side and black and white Nike tennis shoes. He may also be carrying a red bag and sporting white head phones. Leonard is 5’8, 230 pounds. Leonard’s mother, Brenda Leonard, said the last time he was missing he did not know who his parents were.

“He has been out there too long,” his mother said.

If you have any information of Jamier’s whereabouts, contact the Greensville County Sheriff’s Office at (434) 348-4200.

Last week the Greensville County Sheriff’s Office located Clarence Nix, who had been missing for more than five days. Nix was found and returned to his home safely.
