The newly restarted Pack 232 Cub Scouts in Purdy quickly went to work late last month.
The pack collected school supplies and donated them to Greensville Elementary School on Aug. 21. The group collected 16 book bags filled with pencil boxes, folders, composition notebooks, scissors, glue bottles, pencils, markers, crayons, erasers and glue sticks. We also sent extra supplies of markers, pencils, folders, tissue boxes, glue bottles and disinfecting wipes.
The pack dropped off the supplies at Greensville Elementary to school counselor Porcher Bradley and PTO Co-President Sarah Jane Richardson, who were tasked to disperse the supplies at the school.
